Services on Palm Sunday will be at our regular times of 8:00 and 10:30. Beginning Monday through Wednesday volunteers are leading the Stations of the Cross at 6:30 each evening. On Maundy Thursday at 6:30 we will celebrate the institution of Eucharist and live into Jesus’ command to love one another by washing feet. Good Friday liturgy will be a noon liturgy followed by a special Stations of the Cross at 6:30. The Great Vigil of Easter is 6:30 Saturday evening with the lighting of the new fire, the blessing of the paschal candle, renewal of baptismal vows, and the first Eucharist of Easter. Finally, and this is an important change to note, Easter Sunday services will be at 8:30 and 10:30, with a covered dish breakfast beginning at 9:30 and the Easter Egg Hunt at 9:45. Bring your family and invite your friends as we celebrate our Lord’s resurrection.
Walking the way of Jesus through Holy Week can be a transformational experience. These are our high holy days. If you have never attended the three services known as the Triduum, consider attending them this year. It is an opportunity to live more fully into and understand the extent of God’s love shown to us in the life, death, and resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
I hope to see you on Sunday morning and Holy Week!
